For breakfast groceries, turn left outside the apartment and walk 100 yards to a group of shops. At this group of shops there is an old style Thai shop, handy for bottled water and nice to support this old Thai family. A few yards further is a Tesco Lotus grocery store and beside it a 7-11 store.

For larging shopping, I prefer to go to Market Village, where there is a huge Tesco Lotus at the rear of Market Village. Market Village is a 3 storied modern shopping mall which has many restaurants, designer shops and stalls. On the top floor of Market Village is a bowling alley and a cinema and entertainment for young children. There is also a Fitness studio.

For touristy nighttime shopping, there are now 4 nighttime markets. The Night Market is located in the centre of town. The Grand Night Market is located near the Grand Hotel and San Paulo hospital. There is also a small Night Market between Poonsuk Rd and Phetchasem Road and a new Flee Market called Cicada market which is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Cicada is located about 1km to the left of Baan Chaitalay.

For fresh fruit, you can get this at the stall outside Tesco in Market Village or outside any of the nightime markets by mobile street sellers. Mango, Watermelon, Pappaya and Pineapple are my favourites, but they have other types also.
